The Ultimate End of the Matter;

5/18/2010

Today, I must confess, I had the worst class ever. I just couldn't put into words  an adequate description of the techniques, my Kime(focus) was off, my mirror was cloudy, the mill pond was wavy. I had a bad day!....I felt like hiding under a rock, so I turned to my rock Jesus, glorified his name, and thanked him for the many blessing he has bestowed upon me, his unworthy  believer.

THEN - I sang, yes I sang, praises to his name. I believe singing invokes communion with our spirit and God. As I sang, I sensed  a release of my anxieties, began to relax in knowing that when I am weak, he is strong. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

THEN - I read a post on Facebook and responded, pointing out that My martial arts discipline has helped me to come closer to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! It was enlightening to me how the spiritual communion with the Holy Spirit leads us into all truth.  As I pondered this, I was "directed" to type in "Vanity, vanity, all is vanity" on Google and it gave me Ecclesiastes 12:8, however if we go to Ecclesiastes 12:7 we find the description of DEATH in that; ECC12:7 states," and the dust returns to the ground in came from and the spirit returns to God who gave it. 8: Meaningless, Meaningless! says the Sensei. Everything is Meaningless!" Not only was the Sensei wise but he imparted knowledge to the people. He pondered and searched out and set in order many proverbs. The Sensei searched to find just the right words, and what he wrote was upright and true. The words of the wise are like goads, their collected sayings like firmly embedded nails - given by one shepherd. Be warned, my son, of anything in addition to them.

Of making many books there is no end, and much study wearies the body.   13: Now all has been heard: here is the conclusion of the matter: FEAR GOD and KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS! This is the whole duty of man.

For God will bring every deed into Judgment whether it is good or evil.

AND THEN - I thought, "HEY, it really doesn't matter if I had a bad day! Tomorrow is another.........And we should make the most of each and every day until our last. Yes, no matter what we do.... It is appointed unto man once to die and then the judgment

I also wondered how many of you who read my blog have bad days occasionally? If you had a bad day, or if you do in the future, an almost guarantee.....remember ultimately...... it doesn't matter....I have heard it said, "The universe  has a way of unfolding as it should." I would agree with, "IN the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God, every that is was created by the Word. The word created everything. And the word became flesh and dwelt among men." Above it says, Now ALL HAS BEEN HEARD (all words spoken) hence the completion.

Jesus' last words before giving up his spirit? "It is FINISHED!" So if it's finished, it can't be changed. One out of one dies..............so why not ENJOY THE JOURNEY!

The babbling of an old Sensei.........
